Using a patent-pending composite pocket material that slows the rate of cooling, übertherm cold therapy products protect you from the harsh effects of ice—cellular injury, nerve damage, brittle injury-prone muscles and tendons—while retaining the soothing, anti-inflammatory, pain reducing effects of cooling. The übertherm elbow wrap is specially designed with cold compression features that can replace a traditional elbow wrap bandage or ice pack. The gel ice pack makes it comfortable to wear even for long-term use. HOW TO USE
Wear snugly directly on the skin for 20-25 minutes twice daily for best results. Since übertherm cold products don’t overdo it, you can wear the elbow wrap more often if that helps your pain. I purchased two of these for my dual carpel tunnel and cubital tunnel surgery I had done on my arms in 2018. They are amazing and have saved me on a daily basis! I ice both arms down at the same time at night after long day of work. I travel with them in my luggage every two weeks for work, as they are more than worth hauling around for the relief I get. This is a pretty amazing product! I’ve been suffering from tendinitis for the last few months. My doc referred me to an orthopedic surgeon, but I wanted to try some lighter stuff first. Massage, (gentle) exercise, anti-inflammatory meds, and icing. I ended up buying a few cheaper ice packs, but they were kind of hard to fit around my elbow in the swelling spot. After years of training and lifting my left elbow was an inflamed mess. As implied by the title I recently developed golfers elbow in my left arm. I’ve been trying both cold and hot therapy to deal with the pain, swelling, inflammation, etc. I saw that ubertherm had some pretty enthusiastic reviews and decided to give it a try. It’s only been a few days so I can’t speak of actual results but I can say so far everything I’ve read seems to be accurate. There’s a big convenience factor in how it fastens. I can wear it and still be mobile and doing things. It’s plenty cold and that lasts long enough that I feel it could be of some help. There is some issue with the sharp edges of the gel pack protruding a bit from the sleeve, which is not the most comfortable thing in the world when it happens. I solved it by just pulling that side down a bit though, so it wasn’t a major design flaw. I’d like to see a heating pack by the same designer in the future but for now it’s a perfectly good cold product and I’m pleased to have bought it.

I recently received this Cold Wrap and my assessment is that it is one of the highest quality devices I have had the pleasure of trying. The materials are comfortable, the design is elegant, and flexible straps let you apply whatever level of compression you require to feel better. The instructions mention that you should leave the gel pack in the freezer for around two hours before using for 20 to 25 minutes. I haven’t stepped outside of those numbers yet, but my experience following them has been highly positive. There is no instant freezing unpleasantness when putting the wrap on; the cold comes steadily enough that you don’t fully notice it until you’re done wearing it. The gel pack seems cold even after that time, so I imagine it would be possible to wear it for longer still before returning it to the freezer. The gel pack is well designed, though the plastic does seem a bit thin. I’ve not had any problems with it so I don’t want to raise any alarms about a puncture or break in it, but it seems possible if it’s treated roughly. I hope it’s sturdy because I’m really enjoying it and would rather not need to purchase a second gel pack. So far a five star product without a doubt.

Whenever I put this wrap on I start to loose circulation in my arm, even when I wear it as loose as possible. I’ve returned it because I just can’t wear it! Don’t want to give it 1 star because it seems like the cooling feels good and lasts. If it wasn’t for the above I would like it a lot. But it’s just not wearable for me.

This isn’t a bad product. It is easy to put on and it does what it is supposed to do. In my opinion though it is not comfortable to wear. The wrap is bulkier than most and the ice pack sticks out of the pouch. Because it is made of plastic the edges rub uncomfortable against my skin and it’s just a pain in general. I’d give this a higher score if they would shorten the gel pack and maybe make the straps a bit smaller.

I bought this to treat my golfer’s eblow. I recommend it very favorably. You won’t find a better way of treating yourself if you like cold therapy. There are a few things which make this product so amazing: 1. The wrap is very comfortable to wear, and the straps allow you to give yourself just the right amount fo compression. The material also guarantees great insulation from the cold, meaning you can wear it and get the positive effects without hurting. 2. The gel pack freezes very quickly and is actually very cold lasting for around an hour or so. After a few minutes out it gets a bit softer (but niot less cold) meaning you can shape it to your elbow however you need it. 3. You aren’t trapped by it! When you’re wearing it it doesn’t stop you from walking around and doing things. Because you can wear it while you do whatever you need to do you can wear it more often. All the advantages of using ice to treat yourself with none of the downsides. I hope I won’t need to use it for long of course, but I plan to recommend it to anyone I know who could benefit from it as well.

Everything about this wrap seems well engineered. The tightness can be adjusted and it never falls off. It isn’t falling apart after a few days either. What I’m loving most is the gel pack. It gets cold but not rock hard frozen in an uncomfortable way. It’s a bearable cold and it lasts for a LONG time. No idea how it does that. I’m able to use it on both of my elbows and the pack still feels cold afterward. The way the wrap is designed the cold will cover almost all of your elbow. It’s a bit difficult to move your arm when all three straps are tightened, but it’s worth it for the added compression. I bought this hoping it would help me feel better from the unpleasantness of lateral epicondylitis. Unfortunately it wasn’t everything I hoped it would be. I liked the fabric material protecting my arm from the cold, but having to keep my arm rigid for that time made me uncomfortable. They recommend letting the gel pack cool for a minute so you can mold it to your arm but I wasn’t really able to do that and bend my arm as I needed. Not a bad product. Wasn’t right for me, but I’m sure other people will love it. The seller is very friendly and considerate. I was able to get a full refund from them without any trouble.
